Job Summary

This role blends creative social media and marketing responsibilities with on-site sales support. You will manage Onyx+East’s social media presence and digital communications while also assisting in the sales efforts for our communities in the Tampa and St. Petersburg region. In addition, you will work closely with local businesses, coordinate email campaigns, and assist with event planning, signage, and various collateral efforts. Your work will support our Area Sales Team and help drive local engagement and brand awareness.

Marketing Responsibilities 

  • Content Creation & Scheduling:
  • Develop a social media calendar for our Florida market
  • Create, schedule, and post engaging content (text, images, videos) tailored for target audiences.
  • Monitor social media trends and analytics (e.g., Meta, Instagram insights) to optimize posts and strategies.
  • Digital Campaigns & Communications:
  • Plan and execute email campaigns, tracking performance and reporting results to the Director.
  • Maintain and update Google Business profiles to enhance local online visibility.
  • Coordinate and report on signage initiatives, ensuring all promotional materials align with brand standards.
  • Visual & Collateral Coordination:
  • Oversee the coordination of photographer/videographer services for capturing community events and construction progress.
  • Collaborate on collateral creation with Marketing Manager and coordinate with printers
  • Manage rendering outsource coordination for interior finishes and virtual staging to support marketing visuals.
  • Event Planning & Local Engagement:
  • Assist with planning and executing local events that promote community engagement and brand awareness.
  • Build and nurture relationships with local businesses to explore partnership opportunities and special offers.
  • Curate and manage digital libraries of photos and videos showcasing Florida communities, construction milestones, and events.

Sales & Client Engagement

  • On-Site Support:
  • Support the Area Sales Manager by guiding prospective buyers through model walkthroughs, answering questions, and scheduling appointments.
  • Establish rapport with clients and clearly communicate the home building process, setting expectations for next steps.
  • Record and manage client information using the Lasso CRM system, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Monitor the condition of completed homes and models to assure cleanliness and top show-ready condition. Depending on the need, communicate the service needed with management or directly with the service provider.
  • Feedback & Communication:
  • Provide ongoing feedback on buyer preferences and traffic trends to the architecture, design, and marketing teams.
  • Ensure that models and meeting areas are clean and presentable, and promptly communicate any issues to management.
  • Experience & Skills:
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) with familiarity in Meta and Instagram analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creative writing, proofreading, and document formatting.
  • Ability to create visually appealing content and coordinate multimedia projects (photography, videography, graphic design).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles, along with a passion for technology and digital communications.
  • A genuine interest in real estate and home building is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
  • Experience with social media management tools; graphic design skills are beneficial but not required.
  • Sales experience.
  • An Active Real Estate license is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and develop professional skills in the home building industry.
  • Work Environment:
  • This role is primarily on-site at our Valrico, FL model home office.
  • Frequent visits to our St. Petersburg communities will also be required. Gas expenses will be paid.
  • Must be able to stand, walk frequently, and have consistent access to transportation.
